How to ride a unicycle with seat out - riding tricks
In this video Roger shows how to do seat out tricks on a unicycle.
Roger starts with the basic seat in front trick and with a slowmo section shows how to get the seat in and out with your feet on tiptoes and with your pedals horizontal. He goes on to show the basic variants of the trick, seat in back, seat on stomach, no hands seat out and seat out seat in front.

Do regular bike shops also fix unicycles?
Bicycle shops often struggle with truing unicycle wheels as their truing jigs wont fit unicycles in. They also can not supply or change the bearings as these are unicycle specific. The cranks are unicycle specific so they wont have these in stock and would need to get replacements from us. I have one of the smaller Nimbus Ultimate wheels, I learned if you wear plastic shin pads, backwards(on the back of your calfs) and grease them up with any kind of lubricant, they ride so smooth with no chafing

I wonder how much there is of a difference comparing 26" to 27.5". I have a 29" at home and I'm thinking buying a 26" because I fear that 27.5" doesn't make really much of a difference 🤔 edit: I just found out that a 26" x 5" tire actually has a bigger total size than a 29" x 3" tire. Never thought about but makes sense ...
Although 26" now has limited and older style tyre choices it is still a popular size as the tyres that are available (Duro Wildlife Leopard) are fantastic tyres for unicycling. They are tolerant and compliant in a way that very few other tyres are. The size of the wheel makes the unicycle more agile and easier to handle, but only slightly in the case of the 27.5" that gains it agility due to it's lightness. I hope this helps.

Could have made a stand / used bike Fork to hold the wheel ?? Sitting down for that amount of work !
Due to the size of the wheel we have found it easier to lace it outside of a stand. For truing the stand/fork is essential.
I hop on my pedals all the time. I've never even considered that a hub might break. Maybe an isis but definitely not a square taper. I have been abusing square taper cranks on bicycles for over 2 decades and I have never had an issue with breakage. And yes, I hop, skip and jump quite a bit on my bicycles. I'll have to keep an eye on my isis hubs for wear!
The load on bicycles is totally different from that on unicycles. When we first started manufacturing trials unicycles we went to Onza for the cranks, they were staggered that we snapped their best trials cranks in one day. The load is a shock load and this is what breaks them.
I have a nimbus 32 and I noticed a lose spoke the other day thought I'd have it trued at the bike shop down the road. Now I know I'm just going to buy one of these handy tools.
If only there were a kickstand system for 36" unicycles. It works be a game changer for my touring pannier setup.

that's a great video Roger, explains the process very well. I was getting the first type of turn wrong, I was trying to twist into the turn, rather than lead with my body and follow up with my hips.
Glad you find the video useful. You can actually combine both techniques, but I think it is good to understand both processes.

I just bought a Night Rider from Unicycle.se. I did not use any lubricant (error), and it was extremely hard to get the tyre on even with 2 levers. I rode it for 800meter (great ride) and then it got flat. Tube leaking. Now I try to take the tyre off to change the tube - 100% impossible to get any levers in between the tyre and the rim. 100% impossible to get the tyre off. Do I have to destroy the tyre to get it off? I also notice that the tube is much smaller than the tyre so I had to pump it quite alot for it to fill the tyre, is that normal?

Please, post an explanation of the method of training for throwing juggles on a bicycle I know how to throw balls and ride a bike, but on a bike I don't know how to throw juggles
We will look at this skill for a video, but first we recommend you learn to onefoot idle first. It is a core skill that will make sure that you are idling from your core and not your whole body... this leaves your arms free to juggle in control.
